This is the first part of a series of auctions over the next several weeks which will mostly include The Simmons Collection, pieces from a wonderful collector from Arizona who has decided to downsize her collection.  This collection consists of more than 350 lots and includes an eclectic mix of art character dolls (Carrington, Backstrom, Vasi, Manwell and others), artisan and commercial 1/12 scale furniture and accessories, small scale items (half scale, quarter scale), metal and kitchenware (copper, pewter, brass), pottery and porcelain, themed lots (gentleman, Southwest, ladies boudoir) and so much more. There will be a strong DIY component to this sale with single and multi-piece kits being made available from well-known designers like Betterly, Suzanne & Andrew, Petworth, Engler and others and will also include porcelain art doll kits.

 

This sale has a mix of styles, items and categories and encourages browsing which is sure to provide mini inspiration and excitement and to help you plan your next project, explore a new category of miniatures, to consider a new scale to enjoy or to just bring into your world a tiny treasure that speaks to you! The pieces featured in this sale are used and pre-owned and sold AS IS. The pieces are in mostly “good” condition and may show some expected signs of wear and tear due to their age and some may need some light cleaning upon arrival. It is not believed that these pieces have come from a smoker’s home. High resolution photos are provided for each listing, and you are encouraged to enlarge the photos for a detailed viewing of each piece that you are interested in before choosing to place a bid. I am more than happy to answer any questions that you might have before each sale ends and endeavor to provide a quick reply. While I aim to provide as honest and as detailed a description as possible, I hold no guarantee with respect to value, origin, condition, or measurement.  Significant imperfections are noted, and all measurements are approximate. Remember: dollhouse miniatures very small parts and are not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Your bid is your contract to buy, and all sales are final.  Please try and pay for your wins as soon as possible as I aim to pack and ship all orders within the first few days after a sale but no later than (4) days after receiving payment. Delinquent shoppers who do not provide payment will be blocked from shopping future sales. I combine shipments and provide shipping refunds on any overage. You can go ahead and pay for multiple wins, and I will refund back the shipping cost difference, or you may request an invoice and I will send back along with revised invoice with final shipping charges. I also handle all the wrapping and packing of the miniatures myself and deliver packages to the post office for safest transport.  Insurance is required to be paid by buyer for lots/combined shipments valued over $300.

 

Here is a handy legend to read and understand my condition reports:

Great to Excellent Condition = no marks, scratches or imperfections, piece is in pristine “original condition” – fabrics are color-true without runs, pulls with original paint and finishes without color fading or defect.

Very Good to Excellent  = no marks, scratches, or imperfections May show very slight to almost no defects – color true or mostly color true fabrics and paint finishes

Good Condition – very few marks, scratches or imperfections or color defects – may show some normal signs of wear and tear, color defect or other slight imperfections.

Needs TLC: Mostly good structural condition, no major defects to parts, may be fixed successfully by buyer with household tools and materials.

Poor condition: I don’t sell miniatures in poor condition!
