Yale 10 & 12" inch UPVC Front Door Letter Box Letter Plate Set Welseal Letterbox

Specifically designed to complement the softer lines of today's door panels and furniture, the Yale Welseal front door letter box is right on trend. With an adjustable telescopic sleeve and extruded aluminium spring loaded flaps designed to open to 147°, this stylish letterplate is the perfect option for any uPVC or timber door. This replacement letterplate has internal and external coloured spring loaded aluminium non rusting flaps and a black frame and an optional white flap with white frame. You will need to determine the thickness of your door panel or midrail in order to select the correct size - for help please see below.

Available in both 10" or 12" Versions. Includes both internal and external aluminium door letter box flap.

N.B: Two screw fixings are included. Important: Please check the screws are suitable for your application as they will not suit all door thicknesses. THIS MUST BE DONE BEFORE INSTALLATION. There are 8 alternative screw ports which can be used with 25mm screws.

What's in the pack?

1 x External flap and surround

1 x Internal flap and surround with fitted brushes

2 x Fixing Screws (These may need to be cut to the correct length)

First remove your door letterbox by lifting the flaps and unscrewing the fixing screws or bolts. Once the front door letter box is removed measure the exact width and height of the aperture (hole) and check the the sizes against the diagram. Measure the door mid rail - panel thickness to determine the letter box thickness needed (i.e. 20/40mm or 40/80mm). You may well find there are a few millimetres difference to your existing letter box, the door mid-rail or panel aperture can easily be trimmed using a jigsaw or similar.

• External Dimensions: 265mm in length x 70mm width
• Internal Dimensions: Sleeve aperture size - 223mm x 44mm width (min size hole in door that the letterbox will fit)
• Distance between screw hole centres: 236mm

• External Dimensions: 305mm in length x 70mm width
• Internal Dimensions: Sleeve aperture size - 262mm x 44mm width (min size hole in door that the letterbox will fit)
• Distance between screw hole centres: 275mm
