This very rare 5 piece service set in elegant ruby red glass is in the Queen Anne or Queen Ann pattern by New Martinsville, also known as Crystal Eagle. I found a 1936 ad for the set in one of my glass books described as the No. 18/728 Service Set. The ad states it came in "all colors, including ruby".

The table set includes a 6 by 10-1/4 inch ribbed tray, pair of 4-1/8" high ribbed salt and pepper shakers, and the pretty draped rib scalloped creamer and sugar. These are about 2-1/2 inches high by 5-3/4" and 6 inches long.

The tray has a tiny pinpoint fleabite on the inside rim (more felt than seen) and you can feel some slight mold roughness to the upper inside edge (this is from manufacture, not damage). Both the creamer and sugar have a tiny cut or nick to the bottom unpolished ring base, likely also from the manufacturing process but in any event you can't see them until the pieces are turned over and examined closely. The shakers are perfect, probably never used. The chrome tops are shiny with no wear or corrosion. All white spots in the photos are from reflections and glare. It's exceptionally hard to find all five pieces together, especially in this rare ruby red color.

Almost all my items are antique or vintage and come from a variety of sources. I cannot guarantee that any item is from a smoke-free or pet-free home.
