Pat took our AM Radio and this AM Loop Antenna to "The Canning Stock Route" in the middle of Western Australia, ( about as remote as you can get ) and he was able to listen to the Cricket Series live on AM along with other stations thousands of KM's away from civilisation in an area with No Radio Reception at all by conventional means!!

This product promotes regional reception of Capital City stations, many loops sell to Country listeners for tuning in the Capital City Horse Races and Sports like Melbournes Sport 927KHz or SEN 1116KHz etc. Others use a loop for staying in touch with their favourite Stations while on the road. Receive 3AW on 693 KHz in Bairnsdale, or 2GB 873 in Melbourne in the evenings. Receive most Capital CBD stations within your state and adjacent regional areas, for example in Strathbogie you normally can't get 3AW 693KHz, but with this loop you can!
Indoor reception improves with the loop due to its magnetic field nature. Loop Antennas can dramatically help AM reception, even in today's RF-polluted Office environments, just place the loop on your desk beside your radio. ( but keep away from any PC’s, Screens or electrical appliances etc… )

This loop relies on your radio having an internal ferite rod aerial, which all portables have, however some portables like the "Digitor Long Range", "Lennox Anything" and "PR-D3L" just aren't upto it.
