PHOTOGRAPHY:
Due to the intensity of the light unit, photography was a challenge. The light image originally appeared as a “ flare” due to the white light brilliance of the unit, with no clear definition. Therefore, the image has been photographed using a darker lower setting for definition purposes.
This tool uses cutting edge technology throughout to give you the best repair “experience” ever.
At 1 Metre long (39.37 inches), the light unit offers extensive scope for all your woodwind repair jobs, large or small. In addition a very generous extension lead no less that 12 feet long means total access in all repair situations.
What’s more, at just 10mm wide and 2mm deep including the LED, it will fit the smallest of bores for those small intricate repairs. To give perspective, I easily passed the light through my Selmer alto saxophone crook. Unit is fully flexible and easily inserted through sax bell and fed up through full tone hole structure if required.
**KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING**
As standard the light unit itself is constructed from an LED strip that has a 3M backing, this means the unit is ultra thin and can be used for very small repairs where accessibility to the instrument may be limited. As a rule the backing is left on the unit, but some repairers remove a section and suspend the light vertically in to a sax bore and work with the instrument on a stand.
To allow access to the smallest repair areas the light unit is NOT encapsulated within a clear tube.
