PORSCHE REAR BRAKE UPGRADE

 

Description

The long awaited VW AUDI SEAT SKODA MK2 rear Porsche upgrade.  This big brake upgrade allows you to mount the Porsche Cayenne rear 4 pot calipers onto the back of the mk5 golf GTI AUDI SEAT SKODA 2WD and similar platforms.

 These adapters are not for the aluminium hubs these are only for the cast hubs. 

The kit comes complete with all brackets mounting hardware and utilises the standard rear R32 rotor 310mm x 22mm.

There has been a long outstanding problem with rear brake upgrades in that what do people do with the rear handbrake? as the Porsche cars have them built in.  Well this unique kit allows the retention of the standard handbrake cable and stock caliper to be used as your handbrake whilst allowing the 4 pot caliper to do the main braking.  This twin caliper set-up is often seen on the latest Audi R8 cars and the likes where they use a small stock caliper for the handbrake whilst using a bigger caliper for the main brake force.

 

The calipers used for this upgrade are readily available from Porsche breakers or ebay and the likes less than £200.. The calipers are the rear 4 pot calipers from the the rear of a Porsche Cayenne, VW Touareg or the rear of a Audi Q7..

LEFT - 20.7673.03
RIGHT - 20.7673.04

OEM Touareg/Q7 Part Numbers are:

LEFT - 7L6615423L 
RIGHT - 7L6615424L

Make no mistake this brake upgrade will bring many face to windscreen moments as the impact of this upgrade is absolutely stunning!!!!

We do two types of kit:-

1.            Stage 1 which is for the 4 wheel drive cars

2.            Stage 2 which is for the normal 2 wheel drive car

 

This Auction is for the 2WD cars.  For the 2WD cars you will need our precision CNC machined brackets along with the mounting hardware high tensile bolts etc.  You will also recieve a brand new pair of R32 caliper carriers and still use your original caliper with these carriers, and a set of R32 310mm x 22mm rear discs for this conversion along with a pair of custom Porsche to VAG brake lines.

The kit comes with full instructions on mounting this kit.
