Description
This is a $120-$150 catalytic converter by itself. Compare to others who are selling it with a no brand cheap converter. Nothing, but top of the line here. This is a 48 state legal high performance, high flow catalytic converter. Legal everywhere except for California.

Will fit all MANUAL Transmission Cobalts from 2005-2010 except for the 2008-10 2.0 Turbocharged engines
Also fits 2007-2010 Pontiac G5 Manual transmission cars and 2004-2007 Saturn Ion Redline 2.0SS supercharged cars. Not test fitted on 2.2 Saturn Ions, but should work for the manual transmission cars also.
Will NOT fit the automatic transmission Cobalts. We carry those also, but this auction is for the manual transmissions only.
This includes two o2 bungs as the 2.2 Cobalts have an extra o2 bung right after the flex section while the 2.0 supercharged and 2.4 Cobalts do not. We include an o2 bung plug to block off that o2 bung if you have the 2.0 or 2.4 engines and people using this downpipe for performance purposes can also benefit from that extra o2 bung using it for a wideband o2 sensor for tuning.
This auction includes an expensive EPA Legal made in USA 400 Cell high flow 48 state EPA legal OBDII heavy metal catalytic converter so you will have not have any check engine light issues. This converter alone retails for around $150. You can compare to anyone else attempting to sell a similar product and I can guarantee you that anybody even close to this price will have a very inexpensive off brand cat. We spared nothing on this. Everything is to the highest quality of standards. The Flex section of the stock factory downpipe on any Cobalt is guaranteed to fail. We sell hundreds of these downpipe and replacements flexes on a monthly basis as GM has a horrible flex section. Ours is an ungraded interlock flex section. We have been making these downpipes since 2006 and have yet to have a single failure on any flex on our downpipes. This is a direct bolt on downpipe. Front factory stainless 3 bolt flange will match directly to your stock exhaust manifold and the rear 2 bolt 2.5" flange will bolt right up to your stock catback exhaust. The rear flange will also bolt up to pretty much any 2.5" aftermarket catback exhaust also. Also included in this auction is the front and rear downpipe gaskets. All OEM style gaskets. Our direct bolt on exhaust pipe provides you with the highest quality of materials, parts, etc. to replace broken factory part while providing a higher flowing performance part at the same time.

Again it will not fit automatic transmission cars and will not fit the turbocharged 2.0 engines!
