Our Milk Oolong te ais from Alishan tea district. We highly recommend it to anyone who are looking from an fragrant and delicious tea. Jin xuan is a special variety tea tree. It is developed in the 1980's, a new cultivar, but now it is one of four main tea cultivars in Taiwan. And the climate in alishan tea area provide the tea tree an ideal growing condition. Only 20%-30% Oxidation, a light roasting, has increased the milk fragrance and also have made the tea longer time shelf life. not so effemination as tie guan yin oolong tea. It is popular by its fragrance and combined a light milk taste. A soft, creamy and milk flavour of the tea make it is delicious. Light milk fragrance come with the dried Milk oolong tea leaves. Tight and curl tea leaves like tie guan yin oolong, but bigger. Milk oolong tea is a kind of semi-fermented. This oolong tea has the fragrance of green tea but also the fresh taste of black tea. Some people also call is green milk oolong tea. Sweet, smooth and fragrant oolong, can drink all day long. One kind of tea, once your try it, you will love it. Worth to have a try.
brew guide:
Gaiwan or Yixing teapot. Use about 5gram of Milk oolong tea leaves for about every 150ml water. As a rough guide, the higher the temperature of the water or the greater the amount of leaves used, the shorter the steeping time should be. The leaves may be steeped 3-7 times. Try to adjust to steeping time according to your taste. The liquor should be drunk when they are hot, or the fragrance taste will not so strong. Now Enjoy.
