Steering / Remote Control Parts

·        Steel  extension for ball joint sub assembly

·        Please see detailed pictures for measurements and instructions

·        Male-thread end is the same size as the female-thread end;

·        Therefore, the stud on the ball will be the same as the stud on the extension

·        23-24 threads per inch

·        A ball stud will thread ¾ to an inch deep into extension

·        This instruction sheet has use for Mercury 35-40-50 h.p. to 1964; + Chrysler, West Bend, Sea King, Homelite

·        Could be other applications

·        I will include the installation sheet pictured; no other ball or hardware shown on the instruction sheet is included; I have limited number of balls available, please ask if needed

·        The parts are subject to being stored in the shop for several years. In general, the parts are typical for their age.

I am in the process of selling remaining items from my family’s boat and motor business which operated for over 60 years.  The business dealt primarily OMC and has been closed for several years.

USPS shipping in the United States includes a delivery confirmation and tracking number. Choose USPS Priority shipping to include insurance. UPS shipping includes tracking and insurance.

International shipping includes tracking only for the Priority shipping option.

My return policy for this item is: You are looking at an original VINTAGE part. I understand many of these parts are quite old and have sat on the shelf for many years. I offer 30 days to make sure the item is correct and in working order when you receive it. If there is a problem, I will refund your money and apologize for the inconvenience on return of the item in sent condition. Since this is clearance, a correct replacement may not be available.
