This shifter will provide a change to the shifting geometry providing a quicker shifting response and give a more precise gear change.
The shifter is adjustable so you can adjust the shift throw.
This shifter has been precision engineered and is made from nickel plated high strength billet steel and also comes with 3 different bolt pins depending on your specific fitment.
Fitting instructions are supplied.
This shifter will fit the following models..
Audi TT mk1 1.8T Quattro 1999-2006 - 5 Speed
Audi A3/S3 1.8T Quattro 1996-2003 - 5 Speed
Gearbox code - DXW, FMR, FHC
All of the above cars must have a 1.8T engine with a 5 speed Quattro gearbox for the short shifter to fit.
Will not fit 2 wheel drive 5 speed Audi's.
FAQ: WILL THIS FIT MY CAR?
ANSWER:There are many VAG varients of gearbox fitted in VAG cars. If your engine or year is not listed then you can make a visual check yourself before buying.
Open your bonnet, remove the plastic engine cover and check picture 4, 5 and 6 to see if your car has a similar shifter fitted on top of your gearbox. If it looks near identical then this will fit. If it looks nothing like it then it will not fit.
