BRAND NEW 5 SPEED SHORT SHIFT KIT

 

This shifter will provide a change to the shifting geometry providing a quicker shifting response and give a more precise gear change.

This shifter has been precision engineered and is made from nickel plated high strength billet steel and also comes with 3 different bolt pins depending on your specific fitment.

No fitting instructions are supplied. Shifter is fitted/situated under the bonnet on top of the gearbox.

 

 

This shifter will fit the following models..

 

SKODA FABIA 1999–2014

SKODA OCTAVIA  1996 –2013

(Note: The VRS models already has a factory fitted short shifter)

ENGINE:

1.6TDi, 1.8T, 1.9TDi

 

5 SPEED GEARBOX CODE:

 

DTA, EBD, EBF, EBJ, EBS, EGU, EHA, EKU, EWZ, EKW, ENJ, EVS, EWY, EXA

 

It is >>ESSENTIAL<< that you check or know your gearbox ID number. To find your gearbox code remove your plastic engine/gearbox cover. It should be located on the gearbox housing. If you are unable to find the number contact your Skoda Dealer. Make sure it is one of those listed. If not then the shifter will not fit.
