The kit contains all the required items of hardware such as wire, wheels, propeller, rubber and tissue covering.
Building your first ‘true’ model aeroplane requires basic cutting skills, interpreting a plan and careful assembly from following the instructions. The Topaz fits that bill exactly and will reward the owner with terrific flight performance from a simple design.
The fuselage is built up in the conventional manner over the plan with strip and sheet balsa components. The wing is very similar and the whole model can be completed structurally in a surprisingly short time period.
As both the wings and tail are secured by elastic bands, the model is surprisingly ‘damage resistant’. A feature that becomes only too apparent as you learn how to ‘trim’ the Topaz for flight!
The supplied rubber strip and propeller are more than sufficient to provide rewarding climb performance combined with good duration.
The Topaz makes an ideal introduction to the fun of ‘stick and tissue’ models.
You will require eze dope, tissue paste & Glue to complete this model. All of which can be found in our ebay shop.
