For your consideration is a hand crafted sculpture made from the volcanic ash from Mt. St. Helen's that erupted on May 18, 1980.  This sculpture is a mother whale and its baby.  It has a gray soapstone finish to it.  It measures 5 1/2" tall and 5" across.

It has a sticker on the bottom that reads "Mt. St. Helen's Sculptures, Crafted by Hand with Genuine Volcanic Ash, Evergreen Trading Co., Seattle, WA U.S.A."  It also comes with a little booklet with the story of the volcano eruption and the artist.  

This sculpture is in nice condition.  There was a small repair on the base where it was glued back on.  Not noticeable while displayed. You can see a faint outline of it on the last photo.  Please email me with any questions.
