RASPBERRY LEAF TABLETS

A licensed herbal medicine for the symptomatic relief of problems associated with

whelping and kittening and an aid in the prevention of pseudo-pregnancy in dogs and

cats.

Active ingredients: Extract of Raspberry Leaf 3:1 150mg

Dosage: During pregnancy - 1 tablet per 10kgs bodyweight daily from third week of gestation

until one week after whelping or kittening. To prevent false pregnancy – 2 tablets per 10kgs

bodyweight daily from the start of the season for 12 weeks.

Use during pregnancy and lactation: Yes

Age from which can be used: 8 weeks of age

Interactions: Can be given in conjunction with any other medication

Long or short term use: Given when required as shown in dosage details above

Sugar coated tablet: No

Raspberry leaf tones smooth muscle such as the uterus and so helps ensure an easy

and straightforward delivery. It has been known as a birth aid for hundreds of years

and during the 60 years we have been producing this medicine we have reports

of many bitches and queens who although experiencing problems with delivery in

the past, have subsequently had normal easy births following the use of this tablet.

Continuing the dose of this tablet for a week following delivery is recommended

to help ensure complete evacuation of the placentas. For bitches who are prone to

phantom pregnancy Raspberry Leaf Tablets have proved effective in preventing this

condition occurring when given at the higher dosage rate. May be crushed for easy

administration to cats and the smaller breeds of dog.
