Brother Printer Head Cleaning Kit

Alike other Inkjet printers, the Brother MFC-J6520DW can develop clogs that the printer's own head clean will not resolve and can actually make worse. More annoying, repeated head cleans waste a ton of ink, most of it simply backing up behind the clog.

Severe clogs can be caused by:
  • a printer not being used for a while
  • using poor quality ink
  • having the printer located in a cold spot
  • bad luck!

The solution is applied via the supplied syringe and tubing attachment to the nozzle 'nipple' that is usually attached to the cartridge

The PowerFlush is injected slowly into the problem nozzle, cleansing both the line and printhead, 
enabling the ink to flow again once the cartridge is reattached (full written instructions are included)
