Very Nearly Almost is proud to release its twenty-first issue. And it’s pretty special being the first to have a female as a cover artist; and who better to take this highly coveted position than
the queen of street art herself MISS VAN.

Her beautiful hand-painted “poupees” and vivid sexual creatures have been capturing the hearts of art lovers and for years and after a brief hiatus from working on the streets, she’s back in full force. We caught up with her to delve a little deeper into the mind of a lady who has blazed a trail through this macho graffiti world.

This issue is bursting with interviews – from the Ever-Fresh crew member RONE, monochromatic illustrative master JOE FENTON and street art new-comer NOSEGO. We also have pearls of wisdom from those who have been on the scene since its inception, like INKIE, photographer ALEX FAKSO and Canadian artist JOHNNY CRAP. We caught up with a few other influential ladies including graffiti artist MAD-C and stencilist AMANDA MARIE, as well as illustrative duo WURSTBANDE from Berlin. There’s also something a bit different from another duo, husband and wife DAL & FAITH47 who chose to interview each other.
