 Over the last sixteen years, I have made 1000s of plumes and have sent them all around the world, and have always had the pleasure of happy customers, These are the best  hand made Original Australian Emu plume,s on the market and have been used in films, TV, stage shows.parades ,museums RSL,AIF soldiers,, many many more 

 Still used today  the emu hat plume has been with us from around the time of the Sudan 1885 and then the 2nd Boar war 1899 and made famous in the first world war 1914,  Known by every fighting country in the world the very distinctive Aussie hat and plume became an icon of Australia and sought after by collectors everywhere

feathers are hand picked and sown into a brown or gray swede or canvas  type material.  plume will fit all slouch hats fitted with a puggaree. Feathers come from the wings and tail of the emu, with the bigger tail feathers placed at the back of the plume.

The birds are farmed in Queensland,   the state were the plume was first worn by the A.I.F.

when you get your plume hold the leatherette between your fingers and wave side to side to fluff feathers up, put biggest feathers to the back /hat side ,place leatherette deep down behind puggaree clip side of hat brim up ,shake a little more and you are finished
