A Spot is also called a Pencil beam and has a tight 5° beam angle. A Euro is also called a wide beam, a flood beam, or a spread beam. The euro beam supersedes the older style flood beam in that instead of a rectangular or square beam of light the euro has a more defined beam for better distance+width.
