Rare Antique NOS, New Old Stock. These beautiful dog tags date back to the late 1890's to early 1900's. Shaped like a dog's head with 3 blank lines
for stamping. Made out of nickel-silver also called German silver. Nickel silver is stronger and more expensive than brass. And, it doesn't tarnish as much
as brass. Back then manufacturers chose nickel-silver over brass for higher quality items like these dog collar tags. These look gorgeous and resemble sterling silver.
What a perfect way to adorn your Fido's collar with a collectible antique!
These are NOT reproductions. They were part of an enormous Dallas locksmith collection with items
dating back to the Civil War era.
