On offer here is this great bundle of two volumes of Viz's dark and gorgeously drawn apocalyptic manga, X/1999! Written and illustrated by the top drawer all-female Anime/Manga collective CLAMP, X/1999 is probably their darkest and most violent offering and is rated Older Teen (16+). These editions are out of print but I believe that Viz has begun to reprint under the original Japanese title - X. This volume is rare, brand new and unread but might show slight signs of shelfware. An excellent read for fans!    

Overview
Kamui Shiro is a young man who was born with the power to decide the fate of the Earth itself--a destiny he can barely bring himself to believe. But as other players in the prophecy begin to gather around him--the "Seven Seals," with the power to protect the Earth, and the "Seven Harbingers," who are fated to destroy it--he has no choice but to come to terms with his fate.

Returning to Tokyo years after the death of his own mother, Kamui is a changed man - moody and distant to his old friends, yet determined to protect them from the dark forces that swirl around him. Vol.7 Rhapsody
Kotori's life shatters! Exploding to pieces, Kamui's aunt Tokiko dies giving birth to the sacred sword that is his birthright. The gory sight triggers a frightening personality change in Fuma, and drives Kotori mad, reminding her of the long-ago death of her mother. But on the inside, Kotori is quite sane.

Store Subscriber Postage Discount: If you are a subscriber to our store newsletter you receive a 20% discount on postage on Buy It Now Items. This is easy for us to miss so you should request an invoice noting that you are a subscriber. 

'Free Postage': Note that there is no such thing as 'Free Postage'. This is a money grab by EBay as they gain a percentage of money from the seller which in fact is paid to the post office rather than the seller. I have listed this as free postage in order to comply with their policies but in fact this actually costs you more than those listings which list postage charges separately since postage and EBay's cut of it must be figured into the purchase price of the item and also prevents you from gaining full advantage from pick ups or combined purchases. I have attempted to minimise the negative impact on you of their policies by listing charges which still allow a discount for such things but cover Ebay's charges which remain payable regardless of the discount offered.    

Shipping: All postage charged by us (either openly or hidden in 'free postage') is based on actual Australia Post costs plus EBay charges and $2 for handling & materials for each package sent (see combined postage below). If you require registered post add $3.50 to the listed rates - I recommend that you do this as I am not responsible for the actions of the Post Office & by bidding you are agreeing that I am not liable for items lost or damaged in shipping. You should wait for me to invoice you should you require registered post or special arrangements. Overseas bidders should contact me for rates. If you wish to pick up the goods (from Katoomba, NSW) rather than pay for shipping please let me know & it can be arranged, there is a discount for this as listed above and this is equal to the 'free postage' factored into the item price minus a $1 deduction thanks to EBay charges so long as I don't have to make any particularly special arrangements - if I do then the discount is $2 less than listed. Since postage charges can vary according to location, how good a mood the Post Office Clerk is in when weighing the item etc, if it turns out that cost was significantly lower than I charged, I will refund the difference.       

Combined Postage: At the bottom of the item description I list the approximate weight of the item for sale & also the capacity of the envelope/post pack etc on which I've based my postage charges. As noted above I charge a per package handling fee, not per item. If you win multiple items & they will all fit into the listed envelope then that is exactly the amount you will pay for shipping - e.g. if the first item won is listed as 1kg & I am sending it in a 3kg envelope then you know that you can safely bid on another 1.5 kg or so without having to pay the listed postage cost of those items. Of course if I have to get a larger than quoted envelope you will pay the cost of that plus the EBay charges and $2 handling fee. Remember that the weights listed are approximate & that packaging/bubble wrap etc can add considerably to the weight of the package and also that the size of the item might well be more important than its weight as well. Thanks to EBay policies it is not transparent how much you will save through combined postage. Please wait for me to invoice you with a reduced price as otherwise you might be paying heaps more than you have to. Note that it is cheaper to send two single standard size DVDs separately than to combine them but other than that case, most items will be cheaper if combined.  Please contact me if you are unsure of any of this.

Courier Services: If you wish to arrange for the use of one of these there is no handling charge providing I do not have to transport the goods anywhere. Contact me regarding the arrangements. Note that I will not accept any courier arrangement which involves the following companies: Fastway Couriers; Smart Send Pty Ltd. These people are cowboys and completely unreliable.

Items must be paid for and/or email contact made within three days of purchase or the item will be offered to the next highest bidder or relisted. Refunds are generally not given on shrink-wrapped items which have been opened & are otherwise only given in cases where the item description is incorrect - postage costs will not usually be refunded.. However, in all cases where there is a problem, please contact me & we can discuss.
