Only around for a year or so from 1970 to 1971 this is a very dumbed down version of the original. Gone is virtually everything, including steering, mudflaps, jewelled headlamps and opening anything!

There were two main variations during this short time: a ‘Flower Power’ one and this plain orange one (as well as the differently numbered Police and Rally editions).

It looks quite pretty in the 1970s bright orange with strange white bumpers - a bit like some kid has painted them.

This is a scarce version with a red interior. The normal one was cream.

This example is very good with just a few nicks to the paintwork. The glass is clear and the interior clean. As with most of these models, there is little by way of suspension.
