Extremely rare Heathkit of England Model S-88 Integrated tube amplifier. I believe this amp may have been built by Rogers of England. As you can see by the last three pictures, The transformers are pretty much identical other then the fact that the Heathkit version transformers are bigger. Also the build of this amp is quite similar to the Rogers, But is older then the Rogers in the fact that it has a tube rectifier instead of a solid state rectifier. The Transformers have Cast End bells just like the Rogers and are stamped Haddon. This amp was tested by a tech. He told me that the unit came on and passed signal but had hum problems. So the Transformers are good, But it will need work. So please be a Tech or have a Tech at the ready to restore this amp for you. I believe just Like the Rogers, This unit runs ECL82 Output tubes. As that whats' in it now. All tubes will be packed separately. This amplifier is missing the cover plate and I believe the bottom plate is wrong. Good candidate for a nice wood box. This unit will be sold as is as found. Thanks and enjoy.
