This replacement logic board for the iPod Video 5th Generation is mainly used to fix issues related to no power. Occasionally, a bad logic board will show a sad face icon on the screen, however it's more likely an issue with the hard drive.

If your device suffered water damaged, you will likely need to replace the logic board for it to work properly again.

If you have broken off connectors or components from the logic board during a repair, replacing the logic board may be the only solution.

NOTE: There are three different versions of this board, (2) 820-1763-A: One with 32MB Ram for the 30gb model and one with 64MB Ram for the 60gb model, and (1) 820-1975-A for the 80gb model. You can find the part number on the top, backside of the board.
