Knitting Pattern from 1945 to make lady's cable stitch cardigan.

Size:  Made in 3ply wool to fit 32 inch bust. Thicker wool and lager needles would give a larger size, but you'd need to work a tension square to ensure the finished cardigan was the size you wanted.

Materials required: 8 ounces (Approx 227 grams) 3ply wool.  A pair each of No. 12 (2.75mm) and No. 9 (3.75mm) Knitting needles, cable needles, 5 buttons, shoulder pads.

Please Note: This is a quality, cleaned and restored copy of the pattern for you to knit the item/s yourself. It is Not for the original pattern or the finished article/s.

The pattern is printed in A4 format on heavy weight paper with colour photos and charts where applicable.  It will be posted in a plastic sleeve and C4 envelope to protect it.

Due to the age of the pattern, the original yarn suggested may not be available.  It is recommended to knit a tension square with your chosen yarn, before starting, to ensure the finished garment or item is the size you require.
