Copy Knitting pattern to make cute toy terrier puppy dog.

Size: 12 inches high.  You can make him bigger or smaller by changing the thickness of wool and size of needles you use.
Materials required:

  • The original pattern stats to use 3ply yarn which was commonly used in the 1940s, unwound and re-used to save waste. Modern 4ply is similar in thickness. It is used double throughout so you could use a chunky wool, but knit a tension square to ensure your toy comes out the size you want.
  • 5 ounces (approx 152 grams) of 3ply/4ply in your child's choice of colour for their little dog.
  • A pair of No.12 (2.75mm) knitting needles.
  • Black wool for nose, mouth and eyes if sewing them.  Alternatively you could use safety eyes. Child safe toy stuffing.

Please Note: This is a quality, cleaned and restored copy of the pattern for you to knit the item/s yourself. It is Not for the original pattern or the finished article/s.

Due to the age of the pattern, the original yarn suggested may not be available.  It is recommended to knit a tension square with your chosen yarn, before starting, to ensure the finished garment or item is the size you require.
