Please consult a qualified mechanic for testing and diagnostic assistance, for D.I.Y. here are some common indicators of module failure, please check and confirm the following:

1. Daytime Running Lights are not working, either one or both.

2. Either one or both high beams are not working when used.

3. Fuses, relays and bulbs are good.

NOTE: test in (P)ark mode or (N)eutral for standard transmissions with emergency brake off or cycle the emergency brake a couple of times.

Nissan DRL modules are known to fail and at the dealership we replace them all the time. It is a very high probability that if your vehicle exhibits some or all of these “classic” symptoms, the DRL module failure has occurred.

DRL modules are specifically made for Nissan and Infiniti models made to meet Canadian motor vehicle law requirements and vehicles imported from United States do not have the necessary wiring harness for this module to be connected to. As an example vehicles with MPH speedometer numbers as dominant and smaller KPH will be manufactured to US standards.
