Pretty Victorian Miniature Painting Set In Jet Mounted Pendant

We are 99% sure this is jet, however I am not an expert identifying it and so I have posted a picture of the paper rub results for you own judgement to be made - It is sold as seen.

Good condition for age, slight wear on the very top edge. Aprox 2 inches long.
