The 1865 2 1/2 Franc is one of the great rarities of all Belgium coins.  Struck only in proof and never released for circulation, only a handful are known to exist.  This version is struck in copper and is not listed in Krause and is more likely more rare than the silver proof version with perhaps only a couple in existence.  This is the only 1865 2.5 franc certified by NGC.  A great rarity in extraordinary condition.

Shipping: Items will reach the post office usually in 1-2 business days after payment is received.  We will combine shipping for multiple purchases.  Domestic:  For purchases less than $750, shipping is USPS first class with signature confirmation for a flat cost of $5.  Items less than $100 may or may not be sent with signature confirmation at our descretion.  Items over $750 are sent USPS Priority Mail in a small box with insurance coverage matching the item selling price.  Cost is $20 for items from $750 to $1500 and $35 for items from $1500 to $5000.  International:  For purchases less than $400, shipping will be via USPS First Class International for a fixed cost of $10.  For items over $400, shipping will be via USPS Global Express Insured Mail for a flat fee of $48 as that is the only way to assure tracking.   International buyers are fully responsible for customs fees, duties and taxes in their own country.  

Return policy:  All returned items must be in the original condition and holder.  You may return items for any reason up to 7 days after receipt.  You will receive a refund on the sale price; buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.  We reserve the right to issue a refund in case of a listing mistake.   All numismatic items are guaranteed authentic or else you may return it for a refund within 14 days of receipt.
