The extra-long Mustad Baitholder hook features barbs/slices on the shank to better hold the bait in position and obscure the point. Generally used for bottom feeding fish like Sea Bass, Cod or Haddock. Great hook for Rag Worms, Crabs, Prawns or Sandeel. Also, a great hook for soft plastic applications using worms, shads or grubs, targeting Bass, Walleye and Perch. Coated with Mustad´s own Black Nickel finish, which are 4 times as rust resistant as traditional Black Nickel.

Mustad's unique three-stage Nor-tempering process, creating a fine grained, ultra-strong micro structure that is up to 30% stronger than conventionally tempered hooks. The ULTRAPOINT three-stage grinding technology produces an incredibly sharp needle point, but because more of the metal remains the point won’t roll or lose sharpness – keeping that sticky sharpness for longer. The angler can fish a smaller hook than previously, giving improved presentation, but with the confidence that the hooks will not let them down.
