Mexico Zacatecas 10 Centavos 1891 Second Republic Empire Silver World Coin Nice
A Type struck 1870-97 at the Zacatecas mint. This ten centavos piece replaced the silver one real struck since colonial times.
Several transitional designs were issued 1863-70, including one by the Maximilian regime, before settling on this type.
It, in turn, was replaced by a ten centavos piece with a redesigned reverse in 1898.
