Here we have a wonderfully detailed model ship kit by Billing Boats: the "Mayflower"

The Mayflower was a three-masted galleon launched in 1615. The first information about the Mayflower dates from 6th September 1620. After a number of difficulties, the vessel sailed from England with 102 men, women and children on board. After 67 days at sea, the Mayflower cast anchor at the port to be named Provincetown - almost 200 miles further north than planned. The Mayflower II was built in 1957 in Brixham, Devon and sailed to the USA, where it is now permanently anchored as a gift to the American nation.

This kit features a plank-on-frame construction, laser cut plywood keel and frame components, sailcloth, silk flags, rigging cord in various sizes, and numerous fittings in brass and/or plastic for a museum quality finish.

At Ages of Sail, our model ship kits are always of the highest quality available, with laser-cut parts and ornamentation made from the finest materials for an authentic look. This brand new kit comes with detailed English instructions, though the Mayflower is best for intermediate to advanced builders!
