A touch of nature, a touch of luxury; this customized Rolex is both true to the original, and like nothing else. The original Rolex Wood dials are special without a doubt and any time we see one we get excited, but paired with a double wrapped strap in the finest oiled leather, the duo becomes nothing short of spectacular.
Movement: High grade 28 jewel Swiss Rolex caliber 2030 Movement is an automatic wind movement with a date function. It has been newly serviced by a Rolex-trained watchmaker. It runs and keeps time in good order.
Dial condition and detail: Unusual genuine Rolex dial in Burl wood with raised yellow gold markers. Stick hands add to this classic, understated look. The dial dates to the 1980s and is in excellent condition. It is rumored that these were made to match the dashboard of a Rolls Royce.
Case condition and detail: Excellent original genuine 18K gold case model ref 6521 with original fluted gold bezel. Case is marked 6917 and 70407XX which dates it to 1981. Caseback is signed Montres Rolex SA; Geneve Switzerland; 18K, 750 and 6900.
Crystal/Glass condition: Plastic crystal in very good condition.
Strap condition and detail: New strap made in France of oiled calf in a double turn style for an updated, yet still classic look. Fitted with a plain, or non-genuine buckle.
Size of watch: about 26mm in diameter not including lugs.
Will fit wrist size 5 1/2" to 6 3/4" in circumference.
