THE BIG-E by Edward P. Stafford, N.S.N.

Published by Random House in 1962 - First Edition - First Printing

This is the exiting story of  one of  the greatest and most beloved fighting ships in the United States Navy, the USS Enterprise, which in the four years between Pearl Harbor and Okinawa, was in almost every major battle in the Pacific Ocean.  The  book is in very good condition;  the spine is tight  and the cover is clean with minor shelf wear including scuffing and/or bumping.  The pages are clear and easily readable although yellowed with age.  The unclipped dust jacket has minor chipping  and is in good to very good condition;  it is in a plastic cover.  See photographs.

This is a great book for any military fan, and it would be an excellant addition to anyone's book collection.

The book is about 6-1/2" x 9-1/2" x 1-1/2", 499 pages, and about 2-3 lbs.+/-  with packaging.
