My handmade hats have been making heads happy since 1989. Each one comes directly from our Hattic based on the top floor of a lovely old building in Bond Street in the northlaine of Brighton, England. The general feedback is that they are very comfortable on the head as well as providing some style enough to generate a lot of attention. A lot of our business comes literally from curious hat lovers asking 'Where did you get that hat?' This pinch trilby hat is constructed from a quality 100% cotton corduroy, contrasted with green leather. The crown stands at 8.5cm at the front and back, and 10.5 cm at the sides. The brim is 4 cm. The lining is a tonic satin viscose. Brim can be styled up or down, front and back. We will make the hat to fit your head. Send us your head size in Cm. HEAD SIZE If you are uncertain of your head size...please ask someone to measure it for you with a soft tape measure. It should be placed around the head where the hat will sit...just above the brows and the ears, making sure you cover the occipital bone, (in the centre back of the head). Keep the measure firm so as to allow for the leather to give slightly upon wearing. Thanks for taking the time to be here!
Sizing Guide
It would probably be better for accuracy of measurement if you ask someone to do this for you. So, using a tape measure of plastic or cloth, measure the circumference of your head just above the top of the ears and just above the brow.

Make sure the tape lies midway on your occipital bone (the small bone in the centre back of your head).
Make it a firm measurement, not too tight or loose. Let it sit how you'd like the hat to sit.
If you are measuring up for a leather hat, I will account for the inevitable give in the leather after a few wears of the hat. This hat does need to be a snug fit at first to allow for the give.
- Delivery -
We will do our best to get a custom hat dispatched to you within the suggested 15 working days. Any delays, perhaps due to supply of cloth or other materials, will be communicated to you.
Please understand that when the hat has left the Hattic, it is then in the hands of the postal service, over which we have no control.
- Returns -
Should you wish to return your hat, you must do so within 7 days of receipt. Before returning send us a message via the eBay messaging system with details of the hat and your name. Please put your details in the box with the hat too.
If returning from outside the EU, you MUST right 'Return' on the custom label and the box. Failure to do so will result in duties to be paid and we cannot be responsible for that.
Unless the return is due to an error on our part, we cannot be responsible for the postage and packing fees.
If an error has been made, we are happy to refund/exchange, whichever you would prefer.

The hats themselves are hand cut and hand stitched to provide a custom fit. They are constructed in leather, cotton, canvas, tweed and other chanced upon materials - hence the one offs and short runs of certain models. Properly looked after they will last a lifetime.

From order we aim to deliver your unique hat to you within three weeks. At Christmas and peak times, it is quite simply Hactic, so please allow for a slightly longer delivery time. (The sooner we receive the order the sooner it will arrive.)
