Vintage Waters Conley Phonola Electric S-50 Portable 78 RPM Phonograph Record Player Turntable

Excellent overall condition with minor wear as shown in photos, works and plays, good loud volume.  Dates to around 1946, this is an S-50 grey leatherette electric model, made in Rochester Minnesota.   Includes several original replacement steel needles, this stylus is for heavy shellac records only - do not use on vinyl or plastic records. 

The S-50 was originally a hand-crank model, so this would be one of the earliest electric portable phonographs produced by Waters Conley.   Now it was possible to take bring your own tunes to the party and not be stuck at the crank while everybody else dances!

Perfect for a film or television prop - this is a museum grade collection piece!
