Tsuneo Osawa Masterwork ~
Bizen Ware vase Hanaire

I have been buying and selling collectable Japanese Art and Antiques for over forty years.
I only offer the finest works for the discriminating buyer..

Bizen ceramics reflect Zen consciousness where simplicity is deceptively intricate

Tsuneo Osawa is one of the great well known Bizen artists in Japan who are perpetuating ancient pottery techniques.
His works are sold by the some of most prestigious galleries in Japan: Gallery Gansui in Kyoto and Gallery Tosei in Osaka
Osawa has a cult like following in Japan where his works are snatched as soon as they are offered.

The Bizen Hanaire (vase) being offered here are deeply reflective of traditional Momoyama period esthetics.
The form is a gourd shape, for which Osawa is specifically known, his being uniquely balanced in all aspects.

This superb vase were made in 2002. Formerly from the estate of a lifelong collector
Enclosed in the makers original signed Tomobaku (box), with Hanko stamped (cloth) and artist bio
