These lenses are Category 2/3 -  Medium to HIGH sun-glare and good UV protection (AS/NZ 1067:2003) - compatible with standards in US and Europe.  

These items are AUTHENIC and GENUINE GUCCI  lenses, proof in the "Gucci" engraving on the front-surface of the lenses.

The lenses are made of Resin (CR-39) for clarity, lightweight and shatter-safe. 

NB:

The lenses for models GG2234 and GG008S are POLARIZED, to further cut blinding glare from light reflecting from horizontal surfaces:

• roads - turning glossy looking roads to matt looking roads
• water - allowing you to see straight through water, not the sun reflections off the waves
• snow - allowing you to see the mounds, pits and undulations in the snow.  
• eliminate car dashboard images reflecting off your wind-screen, giving you crisp clear driving vision.
