Our plates are made to the highest possible standard. Number Plates are a non returnable item as the are a customised product. This item does not fall under our returns policy. The plates are printed and not pressed.

How to tell us your requirements

Once you have added the item/s you require from us, on the 'eBay Checkout' page, as shown in the images, select 'Message to seller', add your message and inform us of the following details:

  • Vehicle Registration Number - please supply in capitals
Then press 'Add', you should then see the message you have typed and a 'Edit Message' will show, if you have made a mistake, click this make the amendment and the click 'Save'. Proceed to 'Confirm and Pay' and follow the instructions on screen.

Important Information:

All plates comply with BS AU 145d and manufactured to UK INF104.

One original document from each list must be supplied before delivery of the item:

     Proof of Identity

  • Driving licence
  • Utility, Council Tax or rates bill from the last 6 months
  • National identity card
  • Passport - doesn't have to be issued in the UK
  • Bank or building society debit or credit card
  • Police warrant car
  • Armed forces identity card
     Proof of Entitlement
  • Vehicle registration certificate (V5C or V5CNI)
  • New keeper supplement (V5V/2 or V5C/2NI)
  • Certificate of entitlement (V750 or V750NI) to the number
  • Retention document (V778)
  • A renewal reminder for vehicle tax or SORN (V11 or V11NI)
  • Temporary registration certificate (V379 or V379NI)
  • A number plate authorisation certificate (V948) with an official stamp from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) or Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA)
  • An electronic number plate authorisation certificate (eV948)
  • A letter of authorisation from a fleet operator (including lease or hire company) quoting the document reference number from the registration certificate
  • If your fleet is in the new V5C on demand scheme (also called 'V5C suppression'), a PDF of the vehicle's details from the view vehicle record service via DVLA website

The above original documents are required to prove your name and address, and also to show you're allowed to use the registration number. All original documents will be posted back to your delivery address provided to us at the point of sale.

All plates supplied with our company name, postcode and BSAU, this is not customisable and cannot be removed.

Legal font used is Charles Wright, character height of 79mm, character width 50mm (excluding number 1 or letter I) stroke width of 14mm, space between characters 11mm, space between groups 33mm.

* We will only ship to the address provided to us by eBay. Under no circumstances will we dispatch to an alternative address. This is to protect you as the buyer and us as the seller from any fraudulent transactions. If you do make a purchase and supply the incorrect delivery address, please contact us within 1 hour of placing your order to cancel your transaction, after this time, we cannot guarantee the cancellation of your order. If you cancel within 1 hour but after our daily order cut of time, we also cannot guarantee the cancellation of your order.

* We dispatch all orders orders where payment has cleared prior to 2.15pm, all orders are dispatched Monday to Friday excluding public and bank holidays.

* We try, the last working day before public and bank holidays to dispatch all orders where payment has cleared prior to 4pm.

* All estimated delivery times shown on our item pages are estimated and not guaranteed, these maybe subject to change due to conditions beyond our control.

* Our courier partners, upon delivery of your order, if not available to accept the order will either attempt delivery up to 3 times or post a calling card for you to contact the courier direct to arrange re delivery. They may also leave in a secure location; a secure location is normally somewhere that the parcel cannot be seen from the roadside. Should an order be returned due to non delivery, we reserve the right to deduct our postage and packaging fee's from the original payment prior to refunding.

Terms

* By committing to buy, you are agreeing to complete the eBay transaction in full. You agree to our Business Returns Policy set out in our item page under 'Payment and Returns'. We accept all returns within 30 days from the date of purchase, as long as the item(s) are in original condition and packaging, the items have not been fitted, and they are as new in a resealable condition. Should an item be returned in any other state, a refund may be refused or a percentage will be deducted from the original payment prior to refunding. 

*V.A.T is charged at 20%. VAT receipt are sent to your registered email address upon your order being dispatched, this will be as an attachment in PDF and therefore you will require a PDF reader to open the invoice. This is included in the listing unless otherwise stated. If you do not receive your invoice, please check your spam before contacting us for a copy.

* In Car Products Limited will not be held responsible for any damaged caused whilst using any item/s in which has been purchased from us. By purchasing from us you are accepting our 'terms and conditions' and also any extras which may not be included but are stated otherwise.

* Our courier partners will make up to 3 attempts to deliver your order, or leave a calling card for you to contact the courier direct to arrange re delivery. Returns

* Returns are handled via eBay Returns, to return an item within 30 days or purchase, please visit https://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/return-item.html and follow the steps.

* Once a return has been accepted, you will be give a limited number of days to return your order, please ensure that it is packaged carefully, and if returning not due to the item(s) being faulty or damaged, ensure that the item(s) are returned in the original condition and packaging, as new and in a resalable condition.

* Returns must have a returns note in order for it to be processed, any returns sent without a returns note will be refused.

* Return request over 30 days from date of purchase will be refused.

* We reserve the right to deducted from the original payment prior to refund any amount we see fit for items returned incomplete including not in original packaging or condition.

* We strongly advise to upload a photo of the item(s) being returned to the returns case.
