For replacement of the Galaxy Tab A's USB charge port, to remedy failure to charge due to physical connection problems between a functional micro-USB charge cable and your tablet. Will not remedy other charge circuit issues.
NOTE: installation of this part requires disassembly of the tablet (easy/moderate) and microsoldering (difficult/impossible without appropriate tools and experience). Be warned that removal of a USB port without experience doing so can easily damage the logic board, necessitating a more complicated and expensive repair.
The right way to replace this connector involves microsoldering and equipment such as a good dissection-style microscope, good solder, flux, low-melt solder, a multimeter, and preferably experience with such repairs.
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
