Offered is a scarce denomination silver 4 reales from the POTOSI mint issue minted for Carolus IIII (PTS mint mark) 
Stunning example of 
the type. 
This is a late example of a type struck 1791-1808 at Potosi, Bolivia (then called Upper Peru). It was replaced in 
1816 by the bust of Ferdinand VII. Potosi four reales of Charles IV are very seldom seen.  Assayer PJ is recorded for 1803-25.
