be down to one or more factors .
To avoid
breaking your new piece of glass straight away
Please
check your stove closely for the following things and inspect glass
delivered for any damage before fitting .
1) hairline cracks in stove door or body causing movement as it heats.
2) Overtightening of retaining clips , these should only be lightly pinched
up.
3) worn sealing rope so glass is in contact with metal intead of rope.
4) front of grate warped so when door is shut grate touches glass.
5) Hitting obstruction such as log or fuel in front of retaining bars.
6) Age
