This updated version of the Nitecore MT06MD penlight comes equipped with a pupil gauge printed directly onto the casing and is specially designed for medical personnel and first responders.

The Nitecore MT06MD is an upgrade to the popular MT06 Penlight. Compared to the original MT06, the MT06MD has been specially designed for medical personnel and first responders while still offering several features everyone will enjoy. Equipped with a Nichia 219B LED, this compact penlight produces a floody, diffused beam with a maximum output of 180 lumens and a >90 CRI rating for accurate color rendering.

These enhancements make the MT06MD ideal for the assessment of injuries, bruises, and wounds. Also safe for use on eyes, the MT06MD by default turns on at the 4 lumen 'Low Mode' for pupil inspection. With a photobiological safety rating of RG0, this light eliminates blue-light hazard concerns to protect patients' vision. The reverse-click tail switch and adjacent aluminum alloy clip provide effortless one-handed operation and accessibility. All of this in a convenient, lightweight, pen design weighing less than one ounce before battery, make this an essential tool for doctors, nurses, EMTs, and other medical/first responder professionals.
