Wire rope, also called wire cable, is an assembly of wire strands formed helically around a central core. The flexible construction includes 7 strands and 19 wires per strand in stainless steel, resulting in a small diameter stainless steel wire rope that is both flexible and offers superior resistance to corrosion.
