Latham's Fire Exit Door range are manufactured with Exidor Hardware. Having such a close partnership allows us to retail all of Exidor's 200 series products, at the very best prices. All panic bars are non-handed (can be fitted to LH or RH hinge doors) and come finished in silver. Compatible outer access devices are also available (298, 302EC, 322EC), please see our other Exidor listing.
Exidor 296 - Single Point Panic Latch
The Exidor 296 Push bar is operated by a traditional style push bar which releases the latch, from the P1601 latch keep (also supplied with this panic bar).
Exidor 297 - Push Pad Latch
The Exidor 297 Push pad latch is a budget option for fire exit doors. It is only to be used in small spaces, i.e. offices, small units, where members of staff are fully aware of the fire exit door.
Exidor 294A - 2 Point Panic Bolt with Adjustable Shoots
The Exidor 294A Panic Bolt Set is a higher security alternative to the 296. Also operated by a push bar, the door is held in place with 2 shoot bolts (top and bottom). What makes the 294A different to the standard 294 is the adjustable shoots. The top and bottom shoot bolts are adjustable, to aid installation.
Exidor 285A - Double Door Panic Bar / Panic Bolt Set with Adjustable Shoots
The Exidor 285A Double Door Panic Bar / Panic Bolt set is a combination of both of the above push bars, but with a box keep (Exidor 300) compatible with rebated double doors.

We do our very best to see that our customers are happy with their purchases. However, should you wish to return your order for any reason, please read the following:
- • Returns are accepted if they are sent back to us in the original packaging, in undamaged condition, within 30 days of receipt.
- • All goods MUST be inspected for any damage in accordance with our Delivery Policy, and we kindly request that any claims for damage be reported via email to us within 48 hours of receipt but within a maximum of 30 days from receipt. Where there is evidence of damage to the outer transit packaging you must mark the delivery as “Damaged“ when signing for it.
- • Should you choose to return your order for reasons other than damage/defect, please contact us for a returns form.
- • Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of any returned items.
How many keys come with the door?
• Personnel steel doors come with 3 keys as standard with a euro profile tradelock cylinder. Upgraded 1* and 3* cylinders come with 3 keys too.
• Fire exit doors ordered with an Exidor 200 series 302 or 322 outside access device come with 3 keys.
Additional keys are available to purchase; we have a key cutting machine on-site. We also offer a key alike system, allowing you to use the same key for multiple doors.
How much do the doors weigh?
• Standard duty doors weigh on average 40kg*
• Heavy duty doors weigh on average 85kg*
• Ultra duty doors weigh on average 95kg*
• Double doors weigh on average 110kg*

Is quantity discount available?
We apply combined shipping rules against all of our doors. After the first door is added to your basket, additional doors are delivered at £25.00+VAT
For orders containing 5 doors or more, we can negotiate more competitive delivery rates
What are the door sizes? What is the clear opening?
• The sizes listed are external frame sizes. We recommend leaving a 5mm gap around the door frame for adjustments when fitting.
• We offer side panels and over panels if you need to add to the width or height of the door. We also offer a cut down service to reduce the height of the door
• To calculate the clear opening (when the door is open), subtract 135mm from the width dimension. E.G. 895mm-135mm=760mm clear opening
