The third picture is the problem I had with my original dust shield in a 91 RS Camaro
I guarantee the quality of the dust shield. I have over 25 years experience as a machinist. It's not being made on a mill or lathe, the point is I know how to make a quality part.
My dust shield should fit 82 and 83 if you have a newer style shifter plate. I don't know if it will work in place of the original dust shield for 82 and 83.
It will definitely work on 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92 stock shifter plates.
