Superb Westminster Musical Bracket Clock 8 Day Striking Mantel Clock By Junghans - Honey Oak Carved Cased German Bracket Clock Working
This is an antique German 8 day Westminster musical striking classically designed bracket clock with bevelled edges with pie crust decoration. The mantel/bracket clock amazing original condition circa 1900 made by Junghans sought-after German maker. The clock also benefits from a large bevelled glass wood bezel the door is organically carved giving the clock a very Art Nouveau style. The case has a beautiful shape and size, the reeded and carved decoration is wonderfully cut think but refined works well and stunning of the highest quality, the case stands on bevelled base and bevelled bracket feet
It has brushed metal dial which has black Arabic numerals, the dial is in good condition. The dial also benefits from a minute track with cut spade hands, the dial is protected via bevelled glass wood bezel.
The clock has an 8-day German front wind musical movement with an original anchor escapement, the movement is in full working order keeping good time comes with a pendulum and new winding key.
The clock measures 18.5" high x 12.5" wide x 8.25" deep
This is an antique German mantel clock which is in superb condition.
