Absolutes tend to be stronger than regular essential oils & are closer in scent to the real plant. Most commonly used by perfumers.

Essential oils are still concentrated but they are obtained through steam distillation & have a delicate fragrance, commonly used in Aromatherapy massage.

Both types of oils are suitable to use in perfumes, Cosmetics & in oil burners
