Here we have a very clean confederate designed Dixie gas station gasoline & motor oil porcelain enamel gas pump sign. This sign would be very taboo now a days featuring the southern soldier's hat and flag! This sign is pretty heavy and doesn't bend much at all! You aren't buying a thin metal or painted tin sign. It appears to be heavy steel with heavy porcelain enamel baked on front and back. Item is in really nice shape with just some minor damage here and there with slight porcelain nicks and minor surface scratches. There is some slight surface rust which will most likely clean up but I am no expert and was always told not to clean anything. Still displays very very well overall with great shine. This sign may have also gone to a gas station lubester I was told. Measures just shy of 12" round.
