An authentic first edition copy of "Quotations from Chairman Mao Tse-Tung," paperback in original red plastic cover, designed to fit in everyone's pocket and be carried always. The book that changed the course of Chinese and world history, and tens of millions of lives, for good or ill.  This edition is extremely interesting because it contains a dedication and foreword by Lin Piao, hero of Chinese Revolution, Mao's deputy and chosen successor, who died in a mysterious plane crash in 1971 and was immediately condemned as the leader of a failed coup against Mao.  Subsequent Chinese editions of the Little Red Book have expunged this section. 

More curious still, the frontispiece clearly states Foreign Language Press, Peking, 1966, but Lin Piao's foreword states: Foreword to the Second Edition...! A publishing error that may enhance its value to a collector.  It is not a reproduction. Authenticity is guaranteed. I have held it since 1967.  I have another, a Second Edition also from 1967 and am open to sensible offers on that.
