Doulton Lambeth - Barrel Tobacco Jar Slaters Patent in Design - circa 1922

This very decorative Barrel Tobacco Jar is made in the Slaters Patent Design and the backstamp dates the Jar from 1922. There are impressed marks to the base 0124 with initials RN and ae or ao.

There is a little chip to the base of the barrel which appears to of been glazed over, perhaps it was down in the firing process. There is damage to the lid which has been repaired although if you view closely the joins are visible. There is a rough edge along the top of the rim.  There are some little indents in the main yellow/basket area of the Tobacco Jar.

A lovely decorative jar in distinctive Doulton Lambeth colours and design.

Stands proud at approx 13.5 cm with the lid on and approx 9 cm at its’ widest.
